One of the best parts about running a company serving jiu-jitsu players is the incredible stories we hear from our customers.
We love Alexander's story because his BJJ journey molded him to become a better version of himself, an indestructible and fearless fighter.
Alexander Lopez
Phoenix, AZ. Purple Belt.
Why did you first get into jiu-jitsu?
I wanted to be a professional fighter.
What has been the biggest obstacle in your journey and how have you overcome it?
The biggest obstacle in my journey so far has been the fight within myself. Sometimes I'm probably my toughest critic. But I have to train myself to think and believe in my jiu jistsu skills.
Tell us about your best (or worst) submission story.
When I was a blue belt during practice, I was put in a bad wrist lock, it cracked. But it didn't stop me. I kept training telling myself I had tough it out because I know that could happen in a tournament or big competition.
