Jeffery Noll: Keep training and tap early.

One of the best parts about running a company serving jiu-jitsu players is the incredible stories we hear from our customers.

We love Jeffery's story because of his determination to overcome hurdles in maintaining a balanced family, work, and active life.

Why did you first get into jiu-jitsu?

I first got into jiu-jitsu, to get into shape

What has been the biggest obstacle in your journey and how have you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle has been balancing my time with work and family to spend as much time as possible on the mat.

Tell us about your best (or worst) submission story.

At a recent submission only tournament I was getting merked by a guy who had beat others that had beat me in previous tournaments. At this tournament I researched my soon to be opponents previous fights, and noticed he went for bow and arrow chokes often. I researched escapes/counters to the bow and arrow choke which I used in our match 3 times. He eventually triangled my body from my back and I was able to push on his free leg to ankle lock his leg that was across my body to get the tap.
