Jim Lenocker: You're never too good or old to learn something.

One of the best parts about running a company serving jiu-jitsu players is the incredible stories we hear from our customers.

We love Jim's story because of his humble and inspiring journey to achieve a black belt in BJJ.

Acworth, GA. Black Belt.

Why did you first get into jiu-jitsu?

I originally got into Jiu Jitsu as a favor to a good friend. He had started and wanted someone older to train with...LOL

What has been the biggest obstacle in your journey and how have you overcome it?

I had 4 knee surgeries prior to starting Jiu Jitsu, so it's always been an obstacle. I try to stay in good health and wear knee pads while training.

Tell us about your best (or worst) submission story.

Don't really have one. I just train and roll as much as possible. I sneak in a good submission from time to time...lol
