Diego "Pato" Oliveira Batista is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt who has achieved great success in the sport. He trained under Cicero Costha and worked with coach Nabil Abdel Aziz. Originally from Amazonas, Brazil, Diego competed for the PSLPB team and won important titles in the IBJJF circuit, including the World, Pan, and Brazilian National Championships.

Diego is often called "Pato," which means "duck" in Portuguese. This nickname was given to him by his training partners when he was young because he had very large feet compared to the rest of his body.

Biography

Diego Oliveira, born in 1998, started his jiu-jitsu journey after being inspired by his cousin. He joined Arley Silva's jiu-jitsu school in 2012 and continued his training at Nabil JJ academy.

As a teenager, Diego started competing professionally and eventually moved to São Paulo to train under Cicero Costha. He became a feared colored belt and was promoted to black belt in 2019. In 2022, Diego joined the Dream Art team.
