Henrique Cardoso grew up with two inspiring uncles: one a jiu-jitsu champion, the other a professional soccer player. This sparked his love for sports, leading him to start playing soccer at a young age. However, at 13, his passion shifted to jiu-jitsu.
Mentored by his uncle and renowned jiu-jitsu coach, Alexandro Ceconi, Cardoso quickly rose through the ranks. He earned his black belt under Ceconi's guidance in 2016. Despite training interruptions when Ceconi was abroad, Cardoso continued to excel, gaining his purple and brown belts under another instructor. Today, Cardoso is a respected black belt competitor, carrying on the legacy of his family and mentors in the world of jiu-jitsu.
