Biography

Jeremy Skinner was born in Queensland, Australia, but spent most of his childhood in Newcastle. He was a passionate soccer player before discovering his love for martial arts at 15. He started with karate but quickly switched to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2011.

Inspired by the success of UFC grapplers, Skinner dedicated himself to jiu-jitsu training. He learned from various instructors, including Sean Kirkwood and Luke Beston. While initially focused on gi grappling, Skinner developed a strong interest in no-gi and lower limb submissions after watching Eddie Cummings compete.
