Luke Griffith, a South African native, was introduced to jiu-jitsu at a young age thanks to his black belt father. He started training seriously under the guidance of coach Bobby Karagiannidis, who helped him develop his skills and awarded him his purple belt. As Luke's passion for no-gi jiu-jitsu grew, he decided to pursue advanced training in the United States.
A chance encounter with renowned coach John Danaher led to Luke joining the elite training group at Roka Training Center in Texas. Impressed by Luke's talent, Danaher took him under his wing, and in time, Luke earned his brown belt, marking a significant milestone in his jiu-jitsu journey.
