Malachy Friedman grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. After being bullied, he started getting into trouble and engaging in risky behavior. He eventually decided to learn martial arts to improve himself. Malachy moved to Oregon to train in MMA and became friends with UFC legend Evan Tanner.

Malachy Friedman has a successful competitive background in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. He has won numerous titles and coached several professional athletes, including Kimbo Slice. After leaving American Top Team, Malachy opened Black Label Martial Arts Academy in his hometown.

He offers a variety of martial arts classes and personal training services, catering to people of all ages and fitness levels. Malachy is committed to providing quality instruction and helping his students achieve their goals.
