Gimenis learned most of his grappling skills through GFT’s program. He fully absorbed the teachings of the academy, using pressure passing as his strongest weapon against opponents.

Biography

Max Gimenis started his martial arts journey at age 10 with judo, but quickly switched to jiu-jitsu. He trained under Herman Santos, a black belt who sparked his passion for the sport. After moving to a different city, Max continued training and eventually returned to Rio de Janeiro to fully dedicate himself to jiu-jitsu.

Under the guidance of Master Júlio César Pereira, Max's career took off. He trained hard, won many competitions, and earned his black belt while on the podium at the World Championship.
