Biography
Pedro Alex, born in Rio de Janeiro in 1996, wasn't really into sports as a kid. He tried swimming, volleyball, soccer, and even a bit of jiu-jitsu, but nothing stuck. It wasn't until he was 14, overweight and inactive, that his dad made him choose a sport. Since his brother and cousin were already doing jiu-jitsu, he decided to give it a shot.
Pedro started training at Gabriel Marinho's academy, which is part of the famous GF Team. He quickly fell in love with the sport and got really good at it. After becoming a purple belt, he started taking jiu-jitsu more seriously and won a lot of matches. His hard work paid off when he earned his black belt in 2020.
