You might find that your frame is suitable for multiple sizes - gi sizing is a matter of personal taste. If you like a tighter, more slim fitting cut you should err toward the smaller size. If you prefer extra room in your gi you can choose the larger size in your range.

While we use pre-shrunk fabric in all of our gis, you can still expect some shrinkage (especially if you're washing in hot water, or tumble drying). A good rule of thumb is heavier weight gis (like our Women's Foundation) will shrink more than lighter weight gis (like our Women's Aeroweave). United StatesThis is my first Gi purchase outside of the one I bought straight from the gym. After a lot of research and recommendations I settled on this one. I really like the darker blue almost navy color. I AM 5'6" AND 165 lbs, the pants fit perfect, but the jacket is a little big, sleeves are a little too long. When I purchased the Gi, Gold sent me info and tips on how to properly shrink and care for it, so hopefully I can get it just right. The material is very lightweight and so far seems to be resistant to that awful dirty gym bag smell. I am very pleased with this purchase, and most likely will buy more. I only wish they offered a women's rash guard with a v-neck! For some reason that seems to be pretty rare.

United StatesI have the lightweight Aeroweave Gi and I love it for training but it is not IBJJF compliant so I bought this gi so I could have a Gold BJJ Gi to compete in. I love this gi just as much as the lightweight one. It is still very light, soft, and comfortable! Did not shrink in the wash and fits perfect!
