Biography

JT Torres started his martial arts journey with Karate but switched to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in his teens. He quickly excelled in the sport, earning his blue belt in just six months. After training under Louis Vintaloro and Lloyd Irvin, Torres achieved his black belt in 2009.

However, he left Lloyd Irvin's team in 2013 due to scandals involving sexual misconduct by team members and coaches. Torres then joined Andre Galvao's Atos Academy in San Diego.
