You might find that your frame is suitable for multiple sizes - gi sizing is a matter of personal taste. If you like a tighter, more slim fitting cut you should err toward the smaller size. If you prefer extra room in your gi you can choose the larger size in your range.

While we use pre-shrunk fabric in all of our gis, you can still expect some shrinkage (especially if you're washing in hot water, or tumble drying). A good rule of thumb is heavier weight gis (like our Valiant or Calavera) will shrink more than lighter weight gis (like our Aeroweave). For more information on gi shrinkage, check out this video.

With a buttery soft Sugar Skulls rashguard liner, our Calavera gi is the Cadillac of mid-weight gis. Competitors love this gi due to the balance it strikes in being difficult for an opponent to grip, without being so heavy that it becomes tough to make weight.

Our Calavera gi features a 450gsm Gold Weave Jacket, with 10oz Ripstop pants.
We reinforced the Calavera's collar with EVA to prevent your opponent from easily sinking in grips.
All of our gis are made with preshrunk cotton, but gold weave will still shrink some (especially if you're throwing it in the washer). Wash cold and hang dry for minimal shrinkages.
We lined the neck and upper back of this gi with rashguard, and it feels amazing every time you put it on.
Aside from the rashguard liner, we kept the accents on this gi understated and minimal. We want you to look sharp out there, not be a billboard for our brand.

These weights are for the colored versions. White gis are just slightly lighter, an ounce or two.
Don't forget to consider the weight of your belt and your underwear (yes, you'll be DQ'd if you they catch you going commando!).

Where do I even begin. I was initially sold on this Gi because of the amazing skull design on the inside. To my pleasant surprise, upon opening my new Gi I instantly felt the quality of the Gi. The quality feels so great and I just felt amazing wearing it. This Gi greatly exceeded my expectations and has made me a fan of the brand. Going forward I will primarily be purchasing my jiu-jitsu gear from Gold. Thank you for the amazing Gi!
Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the sizing of the Calavera Gi. The design is amazing, and absolutely beautiful Gi, but sizing is way off. I ordered an A2H because I am 5’10” and 230 pounds, which seemed to be right at the sweet spot for the Gi, but it is huge on me. I cannot even tie the pants without them still falling off. I ordered with the First Responder discount so I cannot return it, so basically a wash with $100+. Seems like a great Gi but definitely a miss with the sizing.
If you don't buy this gi. I don't know what's the matter with you.

I have a number of 2L foundation GIs and I ordered the Calavera Gold in the same size and it shrunk so much that it does not fit. I wish all the Gi sizes were consistent.
