You might find that your frame is suitable for multiple sizes - gi sizing is a matter of personal taste. If you like a tighter, more slim fitting cut you should err toward the smaller size. If you prefer extra room in your gi you can choose the larger size in your range.

While we use pre-shrunk fabric in all of our gis, you can still expect some shrinkage (especially if you're washing in hot water, or tumble drying). A good rule of thumb is heavier weight gis (like our Valiant or Calavera) will shrink more than lighter weight gis (like our Aeroweave). For more information on gi shrinkage, check out this video.

When it came in the mail, it felt about as heavy as a normal sweatshirt. I was like "no way this holds up with my fat ass rolling with a bunch of cauliflower eared Brazilians" I was wrong. Week straight of hard training, still looks and feels brand new. Went and ordered the Navy blue one too. This is the best Gi I own.
