With a buttery soft Sugar Skulls rashguard liner, our Calavera gi is the Cadillac of mid-weight gis. Competitors love this gi due to the balance it strikes in being difficult for an opponent to grip, without being so heavy that it becomes tough to make weight.
Gold Weave has long been a martial artist's favorite for its combination of softness and durability.
Our Calavera gi features a 450gsm Gold Weave Jacket, with 10oz Ripstop pants.
All of our gis are preshrunk (still, allow for a small amount of shrinkage) and we reinforced the Calavera's collar with EVA to prevent your opponent from easily sinking in grips.
We lined the neck and upper back of this gi with rashguard, and it feels amazing every time you put it on.
Aside from the rashguard liner, we kept the accents on this gi understated and minimal. We want you to look sharp out there, not be a billboard for our brand.
Whether you're looking for a competition gi, or just want a solid go-to everyday gi, the Calavera is a solid choice.
We proudly back all of our products by the Gold BJJ Guarantee.
If for any reason you're not thrilled with your purchase, we'll replace or refund your order no-questions-asked.

Overall, I think that this Gi is amazing! I get a lot of compliments on the black/yellow look and people ask me where I got it. The first time I used it was for a Thursday morning class where you do ten straight five minute rolls, and it worked like a dream. It's much sturdier than my other Gis and even though it's a bit heavy it can still be worn in the heat (warehouse gym with no A/C). The jacket did feel a bit large at first, but I think it's settled in nicely. My only complaint would be the sleeve and pant leg bottom circumference, they feel a bit swimmy/overly large and they give my opponents plenty to reach for and grab as they do hang a bit. Even with that (very minor) complaint, it is my favorite gi.
