With a buttery soft Sugar Skulls rashguard liner, our Calavera gi is the Cadillac of mid-weight gis. Competitors love this gi due to the balance it strikes in being difficult for an opponent to grip, without being so heavy that it becomes tough to make weight.

Our Calavera gi features a 450gsm Gold Weave Jacket, with 10oz Ripstop pants.
We reinforced the Calavera's collar with EVA to prevent your opponent from easily sinking in grips.
All of our gis are made with preshrunk cotton, but gold weave will still shrink some (especially if you're throwing it in the washer). Wash cold and hang dry for minimal shrinkages.
We lined the neck and upper back of this gi with rashguard, and it feels amazing every time you put it on.
Aside from the rashguard liner, we kept the accents on this gi understated and minimal. We want you to look sharp out there, not be a billboard for our brand.
Please note that our gis do not include belts.

United StatesMy wife said a package arrived and since I had only ordered one thing recently I knew it had to be my Gi. I opened it up and WOW. I have worn another brand of Gi for years and was content but comparing them it was made clear what I have been missing. The Gold brand Gi has much better attention to detail, quality, and style. The Gold weave feels amazing compared to my usual pearl weave and even though it is a heavier Gi than I usually wear it "feels " lighter. The sugar skulls built in rash guard looks awesome especially on the black version I ordered. I am very impressed and am anxious to wear it in class. United StatesI am 6" tall and weighed around 275 when I ordered this Gi. I was having trouble finding a Gi that fit correctly, as when I wore an A4 or A5 of other brands they would fit snugly but were too long in the arms and legs. I was hoping the GOLD A3H would be a solution as it stated in the size chart recommended for 220- 280. The Gi quality is amazing and is the most comfortable best fitting Gi I have ever worn. I am now down to a weight of 260 and when I reach my goal of 230, I will probably be drying the Gi in a dryer to shrink it a bit, but this is my favorite Gi ever! I have an A3H ultralight Aeroweave Gi on order and can not wait to start wearing it in the El Paso Summer heat! United StatesI love the quality of the Calavera Gold Weave, but I have a slight issue with the sizing. I prefer a more "fitted" look but am too afraid at my size (6'0" - 190 and a bit lumpy in the torso because I'm middle-aged) to go into the A1 sizes. I also don't want to blast it in the dryer because I don't want to ruin the beautiful and comfortable calavera lining. Still one of the best gi's I have in my rotation.
